SISTAH'S

FESTIVAL DELIGHTS

 RECIPES

Most likely you were at a Festival the same time our great friend SISTAH was. She attends as many as she can. And she has been doing this for a long time. Having fun. Loving all the people around her, making bubbles and loving the great music. Sistah knows how to cook and she is not afraid to share. We love her company at the shows that we go to together. And she always has some tasty treats. These recipes are great on their own but even a little bit better if you cook them in Colorado....if you know what we mean.

Sistah's Delectable Festival Delights

Zucchini Bread (makes 2 loaves)

3 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups white sugar
3 tsp vanilla extract
2 to 3 cups grated zucchini
optional:  chocolate chips, walnuts, raisins ( I like all of them)

Preheat oven to 325
grease two 8x4" loaf pans
mix all dry ingredients and beat eggs vanilla sugar together.  Mix everything together and pour evenly into prepared pans
Bake about 1 hour....check with knife if nothing sticks its done.

Enjoy!!!!

FUDGE:

3  cups (good chocolate- I use Gheradeli) dark chocolate chips
1  14oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 stick of butter (I like green butter)

Melt chips in a nonstick pan (I do it on very low heat)

then add butter and condensed milk mix thoroughly.

Pour mixture into a 8 x 8 pan sprayed with non-cooking spray or you can use foil.

Spread evenly about the pan

Place in fridge let harden cut into whatever size pieces you want......enjoy👍
